Lessons
I am an approved AWGB Tutor and offer one to one tuition in my workshop in Veryan - in a very informal and relaxed manner.
This can be on a variety of subjects, from taster sessions or a beginners introduction to woodturning course - to specific disciplines including - bowl turning, natural edge turning, spindle turning, colouring techniques, texturing techniques, finishing techniques, sharpening - or simply brushing up on your turning skills after absence from the lathe.
Every session is tailor made to your requirements and skill level.
The courses are aimed at beginners and intermediate levels.

Taster Experience - a fun session trying out woodturning
Brush Up - Refreshing an existing woodturning skill
Sharpening - Basic sharpening techniques
3 Hour
Half Day Experience - Learning a specific skill or project
Woodturning Refresher - 3 hour refresher course for those returning to woodturning
Introduction to Colouring - 3 hour session covering both the theory and practical application of stains and paints
5 x 3 Hour
All About Bowls Course - 5 individual 3 hour sessions covering all the main aspects of bowl turning
All About Colouring Course - 5 individual 3 hour sessions covering a variety of colouring techniques
Introduction to Woodturning Course - 5 individual 3 hour sessions covering all basic aspects of woodturning
