A course consisting of 5 individual 3 hour woodturning sessions in a fully equipped woodturning workshop with 2 lathes to choose from, based in Veryan (on the Roseland) TR2.

The purpose of this course is to cover all the main aspects of colouring, including the application of stains, acrylics and finishes.

We will cover colouring theory, blank preparation, colouring techniques, finishing, embellishing and design.

All PPE and wood provided.

To get the most out of this course students should have some basic knowledge/experience of woodturning.

For complete beginners who have never been on a lathe before - I recommend a 2 hour taster experience session first.
